The Pink Door, a new women’s clothing consignment shop, opened yesterday at 9290 Buckley Hall Road in Mathews.Operating under the umbrella of Roane’s Antiques at the Cottage, a downtown Mathews consignment shop, The Pink Door offers higher-end consignments in a boutique-style environment, said manager Brandi Jones, daughter-in-law of owner Janice Jones.
With an eclectic collection that includes a range of designer brands, the shop offers “a little bit of everything” at a reasonable price, said Brandi Jones. There are dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, blouses, and shoes in all shapes and styles, suited to the season. There are scarves and jewelry and even hats.
“You can put together an entire outfit,” said shop employee Nicola Rooney.
The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, said Brandi Jones, humorously adding that there is seating available for “shopping chaperones.”
