The 39th annual Gloucester Rotary Club Pig Roast will be held from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28. The all-you-can-eat event will be held at the Ware River Yacht Club.

Tickets are $40 per person. Children under 6 eat free. The menu includes barbecue, baked beans, cole slaw and dessert, with wine, beer and water available. Food will be served until 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available from Gloucester Rotarians, or call Nancy (804-695-4475) or Jay (804-815-4475). A 50/50 raffle will be held. The pig roast will be held, rain or shine.

This year’s roast, like those held in years past, is expected to provide funds for scholarships and various community and international programs, a release stated.
