The Piankatank Ruritan Club, Hudgins, is celebrating its 50th anniversary from 1-4 p.m. Saturday with a community event.

According to the club’s fourth president, Jennings Haynes, the event is free and open to the public. The club will have hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream to celebrate its 50 years. The event will adhere to all state mandates pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.
