The Piankatank Community League will hold its semi-annual Fire and Rescue Squad Volunteer Appreciation Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the league building, 11888 Harcum Road, Gloucester.
A release said this is the community league’s longstanding tradition and “an excellent opportunity for league members and friends in the Gloucester community to show their appreciation for all the fire and rescue volunteers do for all of us every day.”
Community members are welcome to provide a covered dish or dessert to the league building between 5:30 and 6 p.m., the release said. Helpers are always welcome for setting up the buffet table, cutting cakes, cleaning up, etc.
