World-renowned stride and swing pianist Judy Carmichael will perform live in concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, at Mathews High School in the Concerts by the Bay performing arts series.
Carmichael is one of the world’s leading interpreters of stride and swing piano, said a press release. Her talents have taken her all over the world, from Carnegie Hall to the Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Italy. She has performed onstage with the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Michael Feinstein, Steve Ross, the Smothers Brothers, and others.
“Her high-energy program is a romp through the Great American Songbook, combined with her famed wit and humor,” said a press release.
