Pi Day

Peasley Middle School carried on with Pi Day (which is observed on March 14, or 3/14) activities last week with competitors socially distanced in the school gymnasium. The first-place winner was sixth grader Samantha Ramaglino, who recited 112 numbers of pi from memory. Above from left are Ramaglino, second-place winner Nadia Oberlin, third-place winner Cassie Wilson and fourth-place winner Catherine King. The event was coordinated by Peasley math teacher Eany Oh.
