The 2020 Gloucester County Art Student Calendar, sponsored by the Phoenix Art Group, is now available for purchase. Proceeds from calendar sales provide scholarship support for a qualified senior from Gloucester County who wishes to continue studying art at the college level. Scholarship applications are available on the Gloucester High School website, https://ghs.gc.k12.va.us.

Thirteen images by children of all ages in the public, private and homeschooled systems illustrate the months of the year as well as the cover.

The calendars are available for purchase at Gloucester Montessori on Route 17 by Riverside Walter Reed Hospital; Corner Cottage Frame Shop, 804-693-6722, 6812 Enfield Road; and Kaleidoscope Inc. (804-815-7832), Abingdon Park, 2896 George Washington Memorial Highway, all in Gloucester.

“These calendars make great gifts and will help a local artist continue their artistic journey,” said Dick Welton of the Phoenix Art Group in a press release.
