Phillips Energy of Gloucester Point has announced that its 2025 Longest Day fundraiser bought in a total of $6,132.28 for the Alzheimer’s Association. This is designed as a kickoff for the association’s annual fundraising campaign.
Each year on The Longest Day, the summer solstice, Phillips Energy joins individuals and organizations nationwide in recognizing the day with the longest period of daylight to help the millions of people affected with Alzheimer’s.
This year’s efforts included a daylong fuel fundraiser where 10 percent of sales from its public gas station in Gloucester were donated to the cause, a community celebration at Gloucester Brewing Company, and a raffle for a Blackstone griddle.
