Philip Page, president of the Gloucester Historical Society, will speak at two programs of the Sons of the American Revolution on Tuesday, Sept. 8. The Richard Henry Lee Chapter, meeting at 11:30 a.m. at Historic Christ Church, Weems, has set a topic of “Governor John Page—A History of the Page Family in Colonial Virginia.” Page will present a history of the family and the career of John Page, burgess, delegate, member of Congress, and 13th Governor of Virginia.
