PHILIPPE NADEAU

Philippe Nadeau, 84, of Cardinal, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, at his home, Heron Point.

He was born in Van Buren, Maine, and was the son of the late Leon and Amanda Nadeau. He was a veteran, having served in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. He was the former owner of Langley Amoco Service Center in McLean. He attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Bohannon, and was adored by all at the Belmont Pumpkin Farm where he drove the tractor for 25 years. He enjoyed traveling and was an avid sailor. 

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nanci W. Reaves; daughter, Alicamanda Nadeau; siblings, Patrick Nadeau of Mt. Joy, Pennsylvania, Madeline Chambers (Gary) of Dexter, Maine, Maxine Nason of Pittsfield, Maine; grandchildren, Adam Robbins (Amy), Billy Baughan and Jodi Robbins, and great-grandchildren, Michaela Baughan, Tristan and Ellie Robbins. 

He will be forever loved and remembered for his kindness toward children of all ages. His gentle manner and generous heart told the story of his life. 

Memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 628, North, Va. 23128. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
