Ware Academy’s second grade class recently visited the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society to learn more about the shelter’s work and meet the pets that are waiting to find their forever homes. Students were tasked with selecting a pet and writing a statement with reasons why that animal would be a perfect fit for a prospective adopter.
