Personnel changes approved in Gloucester

The Gloucester County School Board named Nancy Allred of Richmond as a speech pathologist at Petsworth Elementary and Kathleen Zanette of Toano as a part-time student support specialist at Gloucester High School during its Jan. 9 meeting. Both appointments were effective Jan. 16. 

The board also re-assigned GHS art teacher Patricia Rilee as an instructional technology resource teacher based at GHS, effective Jan. 30.

In addition, the board accepted a resignation from regional autism teacher Kyla Hafert, effective Jan. 8, and approved retirement for transportation director Anne Lanan, effective July 1.

The board also approved a national board certification supplement for Bethel Elementary second grade teacher Sharon West, effective Dec. 16, 2017. West was certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards last month. ...
