Personnel changes announced at Sentara Therapy Center

Sentara Therapy Center in Mathews recently added one new staff member and promoted another.

Ciara Cannon of Hampton is a new physical therapist at the Sentara’s office at Mathews Town Center.

Meanwhile, Candace Joyce of Mathews has been promoted to operations coordinator for the Middle Peninsula offices and continues as an administrative assistant at Mathews.

Besides the new positions, each of the centers now offers free movement and injury screenings, according to Bri Sadler of Mathews, team leader for Sentara Therapy offices in Gloucester, Mathews and Middlesex.

Individuals with recent muscle sprain/strains can benefit, a flyer said, as well as those who have pain with daily activities or sports activities, those with difficulty with regular exercise participation due to pain and/or movement limitations, and individuals with balance impairments and/or fear of falling.
