The Gloucester School Board made several appointments during its Jan. 20 special meeting at the T.C. Walker Education Center.
Michael Rice of Gloucester was appointed to the part-time Criminal Justice teacher position at Gloucester High School, effective Jan. 31, while Cheryl Neal, also of Gloucester, was appointed to a custodian position at GHS, effective Feb. 1.
Several substitute teachers were also appointed during Thursday night’s meeting. Tricia Newcomb, Kelseay Crowley and JoLynn Hughes were appointed to substitute teacher positions, all effective Jan. 11. Jenna Wright and Catherine Vick were also appointed to substitute teacher positions, effective Jan. 19 and Jan. 20, respectively.
The board also reappointed two current staff members to different positions.
