The Gloucester School Board made several personnel appointments during its June 8 meeting. Sylvester Gregory Sr. of Portsmouth was appointed to a support services position, effective July 7.

Appointed to teaching positions for the 2021-2022 school year were Susan Eaton of Lancaster, Rebecca Coleman of Williamsburg, Ashleigh Koleski and Ansley Trice of Hayes, Jennifer Quarles of Seaford, and Erinn Peterson of Naperville, Illinois. Also, Lindsey Mahnke of Gloucester, was appointed as a school counselor. All of the appointments are effective Aug. 16.

In addition, Kevin Smith of Hayes, and Emery Tayman of Gloucester, were appointed as teacher assistants, effective Aug. 19.

In administrative reassignments, Gloucester High School Assistant Principal Stefan Mygas was named the principal of GHS and GHS Assistant Principal Sharon Hendrix was named the principal at Page Middle School, both effective July 1.Also, Petsworth Elementary Assistant Principal Tiffany Busch was named the assis...
