Personnel appointed for Gloucester schools

The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its July 17 meeting at the T.C. Walker Educational Center.

Leandra Doane of Susan, Heidi Lally of Williamsburg, and Joshua Coleman of Martinsburg, West Virginia, were all appointed as school counselors at Gloucester High School, effective Aug. 8.

Also, Sally Hartley of Gloucester, was appointed as the GED test examiner for the school division, effective July 18, Mary Poole of Williamsburg, was appointed the school nurse at Bethel Elementary, effective Aug. 15, and Lisa Connolly of Richmond, was appointed as a sign language interpreter at Bethel, effective Aug. 29.

Appointed to teaching positions for the 2018-2019 school year were Sara Gillott and Sharon Quiqley, both of Gloucester, Lynne Wood of Gloucester Point, Courtney Chandler of Yorktown, Matthew Copley of Winchester, Devon Neff of King George, and Mary Coleman of Martinsburg, West Virginia.
