Erin Schnurr of Gloucester Point, and David Jefferson of Williamsburg, were appointed to support services positions by the Gloucester School Board during its March 10 meeting. Both appointments were effective March 16.

The board accepted resignations from Gloucester High School French teacher Devon Neff, Achilles school nurse Patricia Roe, and Petsworth Elementary teachers Avencia Ross and Angelica Gilliam, all effective at the end of the school year. A resignation was also accepted from GHS color guard sponsor Jamie Williams, effective March 1.

Retirement was approved for GHS business teacher Jacqueline Outten, effective Aug. 1, and Abingdon teacher Cynthia Miller and Peasley Middle School teacher Paul Otto, both effective July 1.
