Permission for Mission

A successful church is so much more than merely four walls and a steeple. Take, for example, Newington Baptist Church.

The Gloucester church may have its brick-and-mortar presence on Main Street, but its ministries expand far beyond its main campus, and out into the community.

A video highlighting Newington Baptist’s various external ministries—“Permission for Mission”—was recently produced by Gannon Sims of Fresh Expressions. Fresh Expressions, according to its website, is “an international movement of missionary disciples cultivating new kinds of church alongside existing congregations to more effectively engage our growing post-Christian society.”
