Haven Tice of Gloucester won the People’s Choice Award for her painting of palm trees in the sunset during the recent Phoenix Art Group Show held at the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center. In addition to a blue ribbon and a certificate, Tice won $25. With more than 70 pieces of art in the show, which was for Gloucester public, private, and homeschooled students, more than 200 ballots were cast to choose the winner, according to a press release.
