Peasley Middle School held its schoolwide spelling bee on Dec. 14 with four students from each grade competing for the championship. Finalists were, from left, Cameron Blankenbecler, Aubrey Simpson, Aden Harpole, Jack Gibson, Autumn Bogle, Melanie Mueller, Grace Baptist, Ryan Clay, Eastin Hogge, and, not pictured Kyler Hunter, Seth Thompson and Isabella Shine. Gibson is the school champion and will represent Peasley next month at the WHRO Public Media Spelling Bee. This is Gibson’s second time representing Peasley at the regional spelling bee.
