James A. Pavik Sr. recently relocated his investment business, Pavik Wealth Management, Inc. to the Foster-Faulkner Building, Mathews Court House.

Pavik started the business in March 2009 in Maryland and later moved to Mathews County. Most recently, he was a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Williamsburg.

He is a registered representative for INVEST Financial Corporation, headquartered in Florida, and is an investment advisor representative for that company.

"My clients have referred to me as their ‘wealth concierge,’" Pavik said. After developing a personalized strategy for each client, based on age, risk tolerance and other factors, Pavik follows up with clients as their needs and family situations might change.
