Paul Alvin DeVita, 90, of Mathews, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018.

He was born in Newark, New Jersey, and was retired from IBM as an engineer. Mr. DeVita was a Mason and a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Survivors include his wife, Marguerite DeVita, and two sons, Kenneth Paul DeVita and Thomas Paul DeVita.

His body was donated to the Virginia Department of Health’s State Anatomical Program/Virginia Commonwealth University to further medical education and scientific research.
