Patrick Neil Danforth, 36, of Hayes, died on Tuesday evening, Dec. 15, 2015.

We are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Patrick. He was a great young man who touched the lives of everyone he knew in a positive way. He was an electrician working in construction. His passion was for music and he was an artist with the drums. Patrick was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Even though Patrick was taken from us much too soon, he lived his life to the fullest. He lived his life for others and always found time to give to others with a big heart and a burning desire to always be of help.

Chrystyan, his son, was the joy of his life. Patrick was a bright light in this world and his death leaves a void that cannot be filled. He leaves a lifetime of great memories for his family and friends to cherish forever.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Danforth; father, Harry Danforth; son, Chrystyan Patrick Danforth; sisters, Patricia Danforth and Pamela Rigsby; brothers, Phillip, Pete and Paul Danforth; fiancée, Kimberly Morris, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life service was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family greeted friends prior to the service on Sunday from 1:30-2:30 at the funeral home.
