Patricia Sue Mitchem of Mathews, Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Riverside Regional Medical Center.  She was born on February 13, 1947 in Meade County, Kentucky to Paul and Rose Morgan. 

She was a graduate of Mathews High School and a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Diggs.  She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, enjoying time with friends and family and spending time with her precious grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Rusty; her children, Lisa Brooks, Bart Hurst (Susan), Karen Norris (Rob) and Walter Mitchem; her sister, Paulette Insley and her grandchildren that she truly cherished, Josh, Joseph, Lauren, Leah, Shane, Van and Mavis.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at Salem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 474, Mathews, VA 23109. Faulkner funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews is assisting the family.
