Patricia L. “Brooks” Crossett of Hayes, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021. She was born Aug. 23, 1954 to Mary Isabel Grimstead and Graham Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold “Penny” Pennington Jr.

Patricia is survived by her husband, James “Jim” A. Crossett; her children, Charles “Casey” K. Hudgins Jr., Crystal Lynn (Russell Ward), John C. Frame Jr.; sister, Barbara Jean Hogge; six grandchildren, Sterling, Thurman, Cassidy, Ethan, Evelyn and Connor. Her passion in life was to love unconditionally and spend time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was a retired school bus driver for Hampton City Schools of 25+ years and was working as a transport driver for Enterprise Holdings. A celebration of life is being planned.
