Patricia Hartless “Pat” Forrest, 97, of Gwynn’s Island, Virginia, passed away on Monday, Aug. 2, 2021, at Walter Reed Convalescent Center, Gloucester, Virginia. Pat retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in 1979 after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William F. Forrest; their son, Frederick Ross Forrest, and her parents, Helen and Percy Hartless.

Pat is survived by her sons, William F. Forrest Jr. (Mary Anne) and John E. Forrest (Jane) and a daughter-in-law, Wanda Forrest; five grandchildren, Craig Forrest, Erin Dangerfield, Amy Forrest Klingensmith, John Forrest and Joseph Boltz; six great-grandchildren, Aidan and Logan Forrest, Anna Klingensmith, and Jack, Annie-Kate and Sam Dangerfield.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, from 1-2 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, Virginia. Following the visitation, the funeral service will begin at 2 o’clock, followed by a burial in Gwynn’s Island Cemetery, Grimstead, Virginia.
