Patricia Ann Benjamin Wicker of Gloucester, completed her journey on earth Oct. 11, 2014.

The daughter of Willis and Erica Benjamin, she was raised in Williamsburg, Va.  She enjoyed helping others and rescuing animals.

She precedes her husband of 12 years John; daughter, Julie and Adam Berry; son, Douglas Mayes Jr.; stepson, Edward and Nicole Wicker; brother, Maynard and Margie Benjamin; nephew, Hank Benjamin, and three grandchildren, Jeffery and Benjamin Berry, and Taylor Michelle Wicker.

A celebration of life was held Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. at Apostles Lutheran Church, Gloucester. A fellowship followed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to pancreatic cancer research or the humane society of your choice.
