The final donation total for the Mathews Rotary Club’s Party With a Purpose, benefitting uniforms for the Mathews High School Band, was $45,000 (not the previously reported $35,000) thanks to a generous donor. The fundraising will enable the band to replace all 70 of the 25-year-old uniforms with updated new ones blending traditional with more modern design.
