The first event in this year’s Party at the Wharf Summer Series begins this Friday, April 28, from 5-9 p.m. at Williams Wharf Landing’s Riverfront Pavilion in Mathews, the Mathews Land Conservancy announced. Gates open at 5 p.m. with a $5 cover charge for adults and children 12 and under are free. Backwoods BBQ will be on site for food sales and a cash bar will be available, starting at 5. Robbie Kerns & Friends will perform from 6-9 p.m. Some seating is available, but chairs are welcome. No coolers or outside drinks are permitted.
