Partnership seeks to offer wireless internet to Middle Peninsula

A newly-formed partnership plans to offer improved wireless broadband service to many portions of the Middle Peninsula.

William Curtis, executive consultant for Falls Church-based Suntiva, said the partnership with Northern Neck Wireless Internet Services, LLC, may mean that wireless broadband service in some portions of Mathews may now be accelerated and that the two companies may introduce wireless broadband services in some parts of Gloucester.

According to Curtis, Suntiva is a Virginia-based, minority-owned small business, which was founded in 2002 by Dr. Hany Malik. A release said Suntiva is “financially stable and three-time (on) Inc. 500 fastest growing companies” lists. Suntiva has the capital, Curtis said, while Northern Neck Wireless has the installation and technical expertise for the partnership.
