Members from Apostles Lutheran Church joined a Partners in Development mission team that traveled to Guatemala the week of March 30 to provide medical care, medication, counseling and to install stoves. Medical clinics were held in Xojola and Ixtacapa. Many patients were treated and 20 stoves were installed in Xojola. Health kits, toothbrushes and toothpaste and glasses were handed out to patients who were treated. In addition, members of the team worked with the local schools to provide students with information about bullying, healthy cooking and Mayan artwork.
