Parsonage fund to benefit from ladies’ play

North: The play, “Six Cups of Chocolate,” a piece of feminine gossip in one act, will be given for the benefit of the parsonage fund at the old Hughes home near the Battery on Wednesday evening Sept. 29, at 8 o’clock. Those who failed to see this play at “Old Holly Hall” several years ago, should not miss it on Wednesday evening. The cast is as follows: Adeline Von Lindan, Bessie Down (a German girl); Marian Lee, Virginia Billups, (a Southern girl); Dorothy Green, Isla Hughes (a New Englander); Hester Beason, Maude Hearn, (a Boston girl); Beatrix Van Kortlandt, Carrie Mason, (a New Yorker); Jeanette Durand, Nellie Shackleford (a French girl).
