A grand opening for Gloucester’s Woodville Park will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. A parade of athletes will kick off the celebration followed by opening ceremonies and a day of activities.

The free event will include a moon walk and giant slide, hitting off the tee, football throwing and cornhole competitions, a cake walk, guided nature walks, gardening talks and music. A hot dog, chips and a drink will be available for just one dollar. The park entrance is located off Brays Point Road. For more information call 693-2355.
