Gloucester High School is celebrating its 2016 homecoming this week with the theme “There’s no place like homecoming.” 

A parade up Main Street will feature the homecoming court beginning at 5:15 p.m. today at the Gloucester Main Street Center and ending at Botetourt Elementary. 

GHS students may attend a tailgate from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday in the student parking lot. The event will include music by a disc jockey with food and drink available for purchase. 

Gloucester takes on Heritage in the homecoming football game beginning at 7 p.m. Friday. The coronation of the homecoming court will take place during halftime.

The homecoming dance will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at GHS.  ...
