Parade fun

The first Daffodil Festival parade in three years will take place Saturday morning, stepping off at 10 o’clock. Clockwise from left are photos of the parade from years past: The Gloucester Daffodil Festival Queen and Princesses and Little Miss Daffodil and contestants ride on a special float (2019); The Literacy Volunteers of Gloucester, dressed as happy bees, danced their way down Main Street (2018); 16-month-old Olivia Lovejoy and Lily Petrosky are dressed as daffodils in a wagon pulled by their grandmother, Pam Callis (2015); A group of budding daffodils from Achilles Elementary School (2013); first-place float winner among community groups went to the Gloucester Kiwanis Club/Key Club, whose passengers included Linny Georgiou, at left, and Afton Leigh Thayer (2012); and members of the Knights of Columbus marching in step (2011).
