PAMELA ANN MORRIS

Pamela Ann Morris of Port Haywood, Virginia, departed this earth on Friday, August 14, 2020. Pam was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 17, 1949. At age 17, she moved with her parents to North Carolina where she lived for 10 years. She then moved to Houston, Texas, and worked as a geology assistant, researching and hand-drawing topographic maps for several large oil companies. In the mid ’90s she moved to Mathews County to help her aging mother. She also cleaned houses and drove a number of Mathews widows to appointments until her declining health forced her to retire.

Pam is survived by her beloved three cats; her only sibling, Linda Morris Killmeier (husband Larry); two nephews, Colonel Lawrence Killmeier, USMC-ret. (wife Beth), Lucus Allen Killmeier (wife Nicole); three nieces, Brittani Lewis, Jessica Zimmerman and Sara Killmeier; two nephews, Jacob and Noah Killmeier; one grand-niece, Braelynn Lewis and one grand-nephew, Boston Lewis. On Friday, August 28, the family will receive friends at 7 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, followed by a brief memorial service at 8 o’clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
