Rose Nygaard will give a three-day non-objective abstract painting workshop from 8 a.m. to noon daily Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 11-13, at Arts on Main, Gloucester. She will discuss the fundamentals of design and color theory. Students will use a limited color palette, and will be encouraged to “let go of fear and work intuitively,” said a release. The cost is $150 per student.
