The Oyster Shoals Blues & Oyster Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, beginning at 5 p.m. at Oyster Shoals Music Hall in the Richmond County town of Warsaw, with music by the Eddie 9 Volt Band from Atlanta, Ga.

Oyster Shoals is a new music hall in downtown Warsaw next to the Town Park and features food and beverages as well as an outdoor patio.

The Eddie 9 Volt Band has been touring the country to rave reviews and will just be getting off the stage of the Telluride Blues Festival with Buddy Guy in Colorado before the big show in Warsaw.

Local oysters and seafood will be available for purchase, and the festival will feature regional artists and craft vendors. Singer/songwriter Jonathan Brown opens the show on the Oyster Shoals stage at 6, with Eddie 9 Volt following at 7.
