Over The Hill Antiques celebrates 20 years in business

Over The Hill Antiques and Collectibles enters its 20th year in business with an expanded showroom at Stagecoach Flea Market, White Marsh.

The business has been at White Marsh since 2010. Previously, it had been located in Tappahannock, Kilmarnock and several other locations. Tom Hill is the owner; his wife Nancy helps out at the store.

“The name for the business came from our kids,” Hill said. “Since our name is Hill they thought of Over The Hill.” The name stuck.

The shop expanded to approximately 2,100 square feet in early August, up from the 1,000 square feet it had before. It is open Saturdays and Sundays, with other days by appointment.

With the new room has come the opportunity to display more items—many that previously had been stored offsite. Among the additions are expansions to the store’s furniture, nautical, housewares and old tool areas.
