Patricia McGrath, parks superintendent for Gloucester’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism, center, was recognized Tuesday night before the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors in the colonial courthouse for receiving the Virginia Recreation & Park Society’s Outstanding New Professional Award. McGrath was one of two people who received this award during last month’s VRPS Annual Conference in Richmond.
