Outlaws 10U cheerleaders heading to national competition

The Gloucester Outlaws 10U cheerleading squad took first place in last month’s E2E Cheerleading competition, held in Richmond and hosted by former NFL player Michael Robinson.

The win qualified the team for a trip to Los Angeles where they will cheer in the Snoop Dogg Youth Football National All-Star Tournament.

The Outlaws 8U, 10U and 12U teams all took part in the competition, which was held for ages 8-14. While the 10U team achieved the highest overall score, the 8U and 12U teams took second and third places, respectively, in their categories.

This marks the second year in a row where the Outlaws cheerleaders have qualified for a national competition, with the 8U and 12U squads traveling to Orlando for the American Youth Football and Cheer National Championships.

To help fund their travel to Los Angeles, the 10U team has partnered with several local businesses to host fundraiser nights where a portion of sales go to benefit the squad.
