‘Outlander’ author to give talk at Yorktown museum

The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown will welcome “Outlander” author Diana Gabaldon for an exclusive appearance and book-signing event at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.

In connection with the Reign & Rebellion special exhibition, now extended through Sept. 19, Gabaldon’s nine-volume historical fiction series capture numerous ties to the Royal Stuarts’ reign and legacy through the American Revolution.

Gabaldon is the author of the award-winning, New York Times best-selling “Outlander” novels, which have sold 50 million copies in 39 languages and 114 countries.

“An Evening with Diana Gabaldon” on Sept. 16 is $20 per person and will feature a 45-minute presentation by Gabaldon, followed by a two-hour book signing opportunity for ticketed guests.
