Osmosis Jazz Trio performs Friday

The Osmosis Jazz Trio will perform at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Flat Iron Crossroads in Gloucester.The group includes Jacques Jones, who has been part of the Hampton Roads music scene for decades, and Victor Wooten, who has played with Jones since the 1970s.

The show may be performed outside, rain or shine. Doors open at 5 p.m., with a local food truck onsite and beverages available for purchase. Tickets are $10 and are available at flatironcrossroads.com.

Volunteers appreciated

Flat Iron spokesperson Elizabeth Friend said this show and others would not be possible without the efforts of the many volunteers who have stepped up to help bring quality performing arts and education to the Gloucester community.

Friend said she especially wanted to thank the volunteers who helped build the new outdoor stage at the venue.
