Rusty Mitchem, on behalf of Oriental Lodge #20, Mathews, presented a $1,500 scholarship to Mathews High School graduate Katherine Murphy. The Masonic lodge’s first Alvin S. Knight Scholarship is intended to be an annual gift to a graduating senior.
