Organizational meeting Tuesday for Gloucester supervisors

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors, with its three new members, will hold its 2014 organizational meeting on Tuesday night in the colonial courthouse.

 

Newly elected members John Meyer (at large), Michael Winebarger (Petsworth) and Phil Bazzani (York) will join Robert “JJ” Orth (Abingdon), Andy James (Ware), Ashley Chriscoe (at large) and Chris Hutson (Gloucester Point) to make up the county’s governing body for the year ahead.

 

One of the first orders of business at Tuesday’s meeting, which will begin at 7 o’clock, will be the election of a chairman and vice chair.

 

A presentation is also scheduled before the supervisors about Dominion Virginia Power’s Gloucester Solar Panel Project.
