The Guinea Heritage Association is gearing up for its July 4th BBQ Pork Butt Sale fundraiser. People are invited to purchase a whole pork butt (approximate cooked weight of 6 lbs.) or pulled pork BBQ by the pound.

The cost for the whole pork butt is $30, which includes Buck’s special sauce. Pulled pork BBQ is $10 per pound, also with the sauce included.

Pre-order with payment must be placed no later than Saturday, June 25, with pickup on Saturday, July 2. The pulled pork can be picked up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day, with pre-ordered butt pick-up from 2-4 p.m.

There are three ways to order. People can order and pay online at www.guineaheritage.org, click on the “Donate” button and note “4th of July BBQ.” People can visit the Buck’s Store Museum any Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to place an order in person. Finally, customers can call 757-251-8074 and leave a clear message with name and number and order specifics.
