An opening reception for an exhibit on “The Art of Architecture” will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at Arts on Main, Gloucester. This form of art can take many shapes, said a press release, ranging from the buildings around us to the images of structures themselves to the blueprints and plans used in construction. The show features works by Jordan Flower, Trotter Hardy, Catherine Hillis, Michael S. Kravchak, Beth Marchant, Bo Prilliman, Robert Schuler and Kay Van Dyke. “Come see how these architects and artists interpret the art of architecture and gain a new appreciation of the built landscape,” said the release.
