The Chesapeake Bay Writers will have its monthly Open Mic program at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mathews Memorial Library. It is free and open to the public. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be served.

Those wishing to read their works are invited to sign up at the event to be included. Readers will be limited to one of the following: prose up to 2,500 words, five poems of no more than 50 lines each, or five haiku.
