The Chesapeake Bay Writers will have its monthly Open Mic at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mathews Memorial Library, Main Street, Mathews. It is free and open to the public. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be served.

Those interested in reading their work should arrive at 1 p.m. and sign up to be included on the program. Readers will be limited to one of the following: prose up to 2,500 words, five poems of no more than 50 lines each, or five haiku.
