It’s that time of year again. As students get ready for the Sept. 8 opening day, Gloucester and Mathews public schools will hold open houses for students and parents next week.

In Gloucester

At all five elementary schools, open house for kindergartners and first graders will be held from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 and for second through fifth graders from 3 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3. 

Page Middle School will hold open house for sixth graders on Tuesday, for seventh graders on Wednesday, Sept. 2 and for eighth graders on Thursday, Sept. 3. The open house hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. 

Peasley Middle School will hold open house for sixth graders on Tuesday and for seventh and eighth graders on Thursday, Sept. 3. The open house hours are from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. 

Gloucester High School will hold open house for ninth graders on Tuesday and for 10th through 12th graders on Wednesday, Sept. 2. The open house hours are from 5 to 7 p.m.
